Da educação Pré-Escolar ao Ensino no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico: um profissional generalista

Abstract

O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito do mestrado em Educação Pré- Escolar e Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e evidencia um percurso de um ano letivo como profissional em Educação de Infância e um estágio em ensino no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. A formação anterior ao início do mestrado é a licenciatura em Educação de Infância. Como tal, neste ano letivo 2012/2013 houve a oportunidade de exercer o papel de educadora de infância numa instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social, na qual foi baseada a construção deste relatório relativamente à valência de Educação Pré- Escolar. Ao longo deste relatório, é utilizada uma fundamentação teórica baseada em autores de referência para estas duas valências, de forma a sustentar a prática pedagógica realizada pela educadora/professora estagiária. Durante esta abordagem, é descrita uma construção de profissionalização de uma educadora/professora que valoriza o seu papel como sendo uma peça fundamental no processo educativo (observar/preparar, planear/planificar, agir/intervir e avaliar) para o desenvolvimento do indivíduo (criança/aluno) e a sua inserção na sociedade.ABSTRACT The current report was developed under the master's degree in Preschool Education and teaching the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, and shows a path of a school year as Childhood Education professional and a teaching internship in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. The training prior to the beginning of the master’s degree is the teaching degree in Childhood Education. As such, in this school year of 2012/2013, there has been the opportunity to play the role as a kindergarten teacher at a Private Institution of Social Solidarity, in which was based the construction of this report regarding the Preschool Education valency. Throughout this report it is used a theoretical substantiation based on reference authors for these two valences, in order to support the pedagogical practice held by the apprentice educator/teacher. During this approach, it is described a professionalizing construction of an educator/teacher that values its role as being a key part in the educational process (observe/prepare, plan, act/intervene and evaluate) for the individual’s development (child/pupil) and their integration into society.
