A importância da Expressão Plástica no ensino da Matemática no 1.ºCiclo de Ensino Básico

Abstract

O presente estudo cujo tema é “A importância da Expressão Plástica no ensino da Matemática no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico” tem como principal objetivo mostrar que a interdisciplinaridade no caso entre estas duas áreas do saber, pode levar os alunos, do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, ao sucesso. Para os professores, a utilização de estratégias diversificadas para o ensino e/ou aprendizagem, é uma forma didática e inspiradora, pois os alunos ao se sentirem motivados e capazes de ultrapassarem algumas questões educativas, vão ganhar interesse e predisposição para uma melhor aprendizagem. Por outro lado, a utilização destes materiais e atividades levam a que os alunos interiorizem e percebam melhor o processo, uma vez que é bastante favorável o cruzar de disciplinas para maior enriquecimento do próprio aluno. Estas considerações permitiram desenhar um conjunto de objetivos dos quais destacam-se os seguintes: perceber quais as competências que os alunos podem adquirir na Matemática e na Expressão Plástica através de um projeto interdisciplinar; compreender que competências são mobilizadas num projeto interdisciplinar na área da Matemática e da Expressão Plástica; de que forma é trabalhada a interdisciplinaridade no 1.ºCEB; perceber qual o valor atribuído à Expressão Plástica e à Matemática no currículo do ensino do 1.ºCEB. Neste sentido, é necessário conhecer a realidade vivida na sala de 1.º CEB e proporcionar a estes alunos uma diversificada forma de abordar os conteúdos utilizando estratégias lúdicas, para que desta maneira seja retirado o melhor aproveitamento. O presente relatório narra a intervenção pedagógica realizada ao longo de um ano letivo, onde a população alvo foi uma turma do 1.º ano do 1.ºCEB, do distrito do Porto. Desta forma, trata-se de um trabalho de investigação qualitativa, onde os dados recolhidos advêm de entrevistas, da análise documental e da observação participante com vista a conhecer o contexto observado. Em suma, as conclusões do estudo revelaram que a interdisciplinaridade entre a Expressão Plástica e a Matemática é importante no processo de ensino aprendizagem aumentando o empenho e o sucesso nestas áreas do saber.

The main purpose of this study, whose theme is "The Importance of the Plastic Expression in Mathematics Teaching in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education", is to show that interdisciplinarity in the case between these two areas of knowledge can lead students from the 1st Cycle of Basic Education to success . For teachers, the use of diversified strategies for teaching and / or learning is a didactic and inspiring way, because students, when they feel motivated and able to overcome some educational issues, will gain interest and a predisposition for better learning. On the other hand, the use of these materials and activities, lead students to understand better the process better, since it is very useful to cross disciplines for greater enrichment of the student. These considerations allowed to design a set of objectives of which the following ones stand out: to understand what competences that the students can acquire in the Mathematics and the Plastic Expression through an interdisciplinary project; Perceive what competences are mobilized in an interdisciplinary project of Mathematics and Plastic Expression area; How interdisciplinarity is worked in the 1st CEB; To know the value attributed to Plastic Expression and Mathematics in the curriculum of the 1st CEB teaching. In this purpose, it is necessary to know the reality lived in the room of 1st CEB and provide to these students, a diverse way of approaching the contents using ludic strategies, so they can take the best of it. This report describes the pedagogical intervention carried out over a school year, where the target population was a group of the 1st year of the 1st CEB, of the Porto region. In this way, it´s a qualitative research work, where the collected data comes from interviews, documentary analysis and participant observation in order to know the real context. The conclusions of the study revealed that the interdisciplinarity between the Plastic Expression and Mathematics, is important in the teach progress, increasing commitment and success in these areas of knowledge.
