dc.description.abstract | Either in a book with pictures or in an album, the relationship between word and image has proven to be troublesome: both codes should integrate, so that the result is a single literary composition, with a variety of meanings, even if it is aimed at young readers, where one has to deal with their lack of skills when facing any support resource system. In fact, the relationship between both languages, the iconic and the linguistic, is a concurrent or interdependent one. In several situations the image tends to prevail over words, contributing to some complexity of the literary composition, its artistic side. Sometimes, also, image and word contradict themselves, forcing young and adult readers to reconstruct the meaning of the literary composition. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Tanto en el libro ilustrado como en el álbum, la relación entre palabra e imagen es una relación problemática: ambos códigos han de complementarse para que el resultado final sea una sola obra literaria, con pluralidad de sentidos, aunque destinada a un público infantil, por lo que ha de preverse su falta de competencia mediante un sistema de recursos de apoyo. Pero no siempre la interrelación entre ambos lenguajes, el icónico y el lingüístico, es de complementariedad o interdependencia, sino que en muchas ocasiones la imagen tiende a prevalecer por encima de la palabra o es la que añade la complicación característica del texto literario, su artisticidad. Otras veces, imagen y palabra entran en contradicción, obligando a lectores infantiles y adultos a recomponer el sentido de la obra. | en_US |
