O brincar na educação de infância: considerações sobre o papel do adulto

Abstract

O presente relatório aqui apresentado surge no âmbito das Unidades Curriculares de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, para aquisição do grau de Mestre em Educação Pré-Escolar. Surge com o intuito de mostrar o trabalho desenvolvido pela mestranda, ao longo da prática pedagógica, tendo como objetivo principal compreender, descrever e analisar a importância do papel do adulto no brincar da criança, em contexto de Creche e Jardim de Infância. A componente empírica deste relatório assume-se como sendo qualitativa, opção que se justifica por se tratar do tipo de investigação que melhor se adequa ao objetivo do estudo. A recolha dos dados teve como suporte a realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas a cinco educadoras de infância e cinco crianças. A análise de conteúdo realizada às entrevistadas evidenciou que os participantes no estudo atribuem enorme importância às brincadeiras da criança, como tal, procuram promover as mesmas tendo sempre presente a criança e o seu desenvolvimento

The present report is related with the Curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, of the Master in Pre-School Education, for the acquisition of the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education. The aim of this particular study is to demonstrate the work developed by the student along the pedagogical practice, wich the main objective is to understand, describe and analyse the importance of the adult in the children's play, in the context of Nursery and Pre-School. The empirical component of this report is assumed to be qualitative, an option that is justified because it is the type of research that best fits the study objective. The data collection had the support of semi-structured interviews with five Pre-School teachers and five children. A careful analysis showed that the participant teachers in the study attach the greatest importance to the child's play and they seek to promote it, always keeping in mind the child's well-being and development
