A perspetiva de um grupo de crianças, e respetiva educadora, sobre o brincar em contexto de jardim de infância

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio demonstra o trabalho desenvolvido com um grupo de crianças de Educação Pré-Escolar, durante o qual se pretendeu compreender o papel do brincar, a sua importância e o tempo de dedicação ao mesmo. Nesta discussão, foi fundamental realizar uma investigação profunda sobre o conceito de brincar, os diferentes tipos existentes, o brincar como um meio de aprendizagem e a evolução do brincar ao longo dos tempos. O brincar é uma “tarefa” que as crianças deveriam realizar grande parte do tempo na rotina de jardim-de-infância, permitindo o desenvolvimento de diversas competências globais. Deste modo, a intervenção neste contexto de brincadeira, foi essencial para a investigação, por meio da observação participante e a reflexão; por intermédio de entrevistas a crianças de um grupo e à sua respetiva educadora. As propostas relacionadas com as brincadeiras sugeridas pelas crianças, ao longo das entrevistas, permitiram obter novos dados e informações que enriqueceram o processo de observar, planear, intervir e avaliar a prática pedagógica. Desta forma, realizou-se um estudo de natureza qualitativa uma instituição de Educação Pré-Escolar, numa sala de grupo misto de 4/5 anos, para os quais o brincar era essencial existir nas suas rotinas. This traineeship report the work carried out with a group of children of pre-school education, during which it was intended to understand the role of play, its importance and the time of dedication to it. In this discussion, it was fundamental to carry out a deep investigation on the concept of play, the different types existing, play as a means of learning and the evolution of playing over time. Playing is a "task" that children should spend a lot of time in kindergarten routine, allowing the development of diverse global skills. Thus, intervention in this context of play was essential for research, through participant observation and reflection; through interviews with children of a group and their respective educator. The proposals related to the games suggested by the children, during the interviews, allowed to obtain new data and information that enriched the process of observing, planning, intervening and evaluating the pedagogical practice. Thus, a qualitative study was carried out in a pre-school education institution, in a mixed group room of 4/5 years, for which play was essential to exist in their routines.
