A Motivação na Promoção da Língua Portuguesa

Abstract

O presente trabalho de investigação surge no âmbito de obtenção de grau de Mestre em Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico pela Escola Superior de Educação Paula Frassinetti. O relatório de estágio tem como temática: “A Motivação na Promoção da Língua Portuguesa”. Assim é nosso objetivo perceber de que forma os alunos motivados são promotores de aprendizagens, bem como averiguar se a motivação tem influência nas aprendizagens dos alunos. Nesta linha de pensamento, pretendemos verificar se os professores potenciam, nas suas aprendizagens, um ambiente favorável que possibilita a implicação dos alunos nas aprendizagens da Língua Portuguesa. A ação pedagógica está muitas vezes condicionada pelas metodologias adotadas pelos docentes: as estratégias, os recursos, o espaço físico e geográfico, o ambiente social, em que se enquadram para motivar e promover aprendizagens de leitura e de escrita de português. Assim procuramos recolher fundamentação teórica sobre algumas metodologias e práticas a trabalhar em sala de aula. Desse modo, verificamos algumas metodologias, estratégias, recursos e resultados que alguns autores recorrem para motivar os alunos para a promoção da leitura e da escrita. Para avaliar na prática as intenções pedagógicas utilizadas por alguns docentes do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, elaboramos uma entrevista. Através dessas entrevistas, verificámos se a forma de agir que os autores sugerem resulta na prática e se os resultados são motivadores para os alunos e, desse modo, promotores das aprendizagens. Além disso comparamos os dados recolhidos nas entrevistas com a observação direta em estágio, bem como com a análise ao inquérito por questionário, realizado a docentes do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e com isso comparar com as leituras realizadas. Com as entrevistas obtivemos dados qualitativos e com o inquérito adquirimos dados quantitativos, por fim realizamos à análise de todos os dados e estudos feitos nesta investigação.

The following research work was elaborated in the scope of obtaining the degree of Master in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education in the Superior School of Education Paula Frassinetti. The internship report has as its theme: "Motivation in the Promotion of the Portuguese Language". The main goal of this work is to understand how motivated students can be learning promoters too. By this, we can understand how motivation has an influence in the learning skills of the students. Following this thought, we ought to see if teachers perform a proper work that provides a favorable environment, connecting the students with the Portuguese Language. The pedagogical action is conditioned by the methodologies used, the strategies, the resources, the physical and geographic space and the social environment in which they fit in. Based on these conditions a critical and reflexive analysis is made on how a 1st cycle teacher can motivate and promote reading and writing skills. The report is supported with theories on educational methodologies and possible practices to try in the classroom. This way, we try to understand how the authors suggest to motivate students, what methodologies are used, what strategies, resources and results they obtain from these actions. Following the authors steps in education, interviews were prepared to evaluate, in a working context, the intentions of the pedagogical actions used by the teachers. The main purpose was to understand if this form of action works and whether the results are motivating the students, consequently turning them into learning promoters. These data was elaborated intersecting the theoretical foundations in the area of Education. The analysis was made with interviews, direct observation during the internship and surveys to the teachers, comparing that data with the readings made by the authors mentioned. With this interview, we were able to obtain a qualitative data adding to the quantitative data found in the surveys. Finally, we performed an analysis of all the data and studies made in this investigation. Respondents do not develop a work that promotes learning and motivating in the classroom, such as the qualitative data.
