Perspetivas do docente generalista: espaço da Expressão Musical no currículo do 1.º CEB

Abstract

O presente relatório apresenta uma investigação de dois anos que pretende compreender quais são as perspetivas dos docentes generalistas, tendo em conta o espaço da Expressão Musical no currículo do 1.º CEB. Ao longo do relatório é possível encontrar temas que respeitam a área da educação, a área da música e ainda a formação de professores. O esclarecimento dos conceitos essenciais permite a compreensão de todo o processo investigativo, bem como a interpretação dos resultados alcançados. No que respeita as opções metodológicas, a opção foi por estudo qualitativo com recurso a um inquérito por questionário cujos destinatários são os professores do 1.º CEB e professores especialistas de Expressão Musical. Desta forma, foram inquiridos 143 professores, sendo eles professores do 1.º CEB, professores generalistas responsáveis pelas atividades de Expressão Musical e ainda professores especialistas. Os principais resultados apontam para a importância que os professores generalistas atribuem à Expressão Musical e de que modo é feita a gestão da Educação Artística (EA) uma vez que, na matriz curricular do 1.º CEB, são destinadas cinco horas semanais.

This report presents an investigation of two years wich helps to understand what are the perspectives of generalist teachers, taking into account the space of musical expression in the curriculum of 1.º CEB. Throughout the report it is possible to find topics that relate to the area of education, the area of music and also the formation of teachers. The clarification of essential concepts helps to understand all the investigative process and the results achieved. As regards the methodological options, the option was a qualitative study using a survey by questionnaire whose recipients are the teachers of the 1.º CEB and expert teachers of musical expression. In this way, were surveyed 143 teachers, they are teachers of 1.º CEB, generalist teachers responsible for musical expression and even teachers specialists. The main results point to the importance that the generalist teachers attach to musical expression, and in what way is made the management of Artistic Education (EA) once, in the curricular matrix of 1.º CEB, are intended for five hours per week.
